Bethmara Kessler, is a disruptive, high energy, passionate, values-based leader. She is a Consultant, Global Thought Leader and Speaker. Kessler is the former Head of Integrated Global Services (IGS) for the Campbell Soup Company, where she served as a Corporate Officer and member of the Campbell Leadership Team reporting directly into the CEO. Her career spans over 30 years in positions that include Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Audit Executive and Enterprise Risk Management Head. Her extensive experience also includes leadership roles in audit, risk management, information technology and corporate investigations in companies including EY, Avon Products, Nabisco, EMI Group, LBrands, The Fraud and Risk Advisory Group and Warner Music Group. Kessler serves on the faculty of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the world's largest anti-fraud organization and premier provider of anti-fraud training and education. Kessler also serves on the ACFE Board of Regents. Kessler is highly sought-after speaker on a variety of topics including but not limited to fraud/audit/ethics/compliance, personal branding/career navigation, diversity/inclusion and disruptive transformational change.
Kessler is highly invested in helping others learn and succeed. She is an active mentor to numerous professionals at all career life stages and a diversity and inclusion champion. She has served as the Executive Sponsor for several employee resource groups. Kessler has served as Director and Treasurer of the Matthew Shepard Foundation, established to raise awareness and open dialogue about hate crimes. She was appointed by the Mayor of Columbus, Ohio, to serve as a Commissioner for the Columbus Community Relations Commission to enforce the city’s civil rights code. Kessler also served as Trustee, Director, and Audit Committee Chair for The Point Foundation, which provides financial education assistance to students who have been marginalized due to sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
The Financial Times, in partnership with OUTstanding, an LGBT network for business leaders and allies, named Kessler to the Top 100 Leading LGBT Executives for three years, most recently as #25. Kessler was also recognized as one of New Jersey’s 2017 Best 50 Women in Business by NJBIZ, New Jersey’s leading business journal, and one of Pennsylvania Diversity Council’s 2017 Most Powerful & Influential Women of Pennsylvania.
